One Piece Season 3 Adds Four New Cast Members

Netflix has expanded the cast of One Piece Season 3, officially titled One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, with four new actors joining the live-action adaptation.

Emilio Sakraya, known for Rheingold, has been cast as Koza, while Omid Abtahi, known for The Mandalorian, will portray Toto. Jamie Ward, who appeared in The Gentlemen, is set to play Pell, and Nabeel Khan, known for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, will take on the role of Chaka.

The new additions bring several important Alabasta characters into Netflix's growing live-action world as the series moves deeper into one of the most recognizable storylines from the original One Piece saga.

Returning One Piece Cast Members

Several major stars from the previous seasons will return for the third installment.

Iñaki Godoy is back as Monkey D. Luffy, alongside Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The returning cast also includes Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Mikaela Hoover as Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra.

The third season is also introducing several other notable characters. Cole Escola will play Bon Clay, Xolo Maridueña will portray Portgas D. Ace, Daisy Head will appear as Miss Doublefinger and Awdo Awdo has been cast as Mr. 1.

The Battle for Alabasta

Season 3 will continue the story after the events of the second season and take the Straw Hat crew into Alabasta, the homeland of Princess Vivi.

The kingdom is facing a growing rebellion that threatens to plunge the country into a devastating civil war. Behind the conflict is Sir Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and his criminal organization, Baroque Works.

As the Straw Hats become caught in the struggle, Luffy and his crew must confront increasingly dangerous enemies while trying to protect Vivi and save her kingdom from collapse.

The Alabasta storyline is expected to introduce major battles, new alliances and difficult choices for the Straw Hat pirates as they face one of their most formidable opponents yet.

Production Has Wrapped

Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers for the upcoming season.

One Piece is produced through a partnership involving Shueisha, Tomorrow Studios and Netflix. Executive producers include Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe and Steven Maeda.

Production on Season 3 has already wrapped in Cape Town, South Africa, bringing the latest chapter of Netflix's live-action pirate adventure closer to its eventual release.

With the Alabasta storyline now taking center stage and an expanding cast of fan-favorite characters, anticipation continues to build for the next chapter of One Piece.
