Hayden Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, has spoken publicly about the devastating moment she learned that her daughter had died, revealing that she initially felt completely numb and struggled to accept what had happened.

“It Doesn’t Feel Real”
Speaking with Good Morning America, Vogel described the shock of receiving the news and said she still has difficulty accepting that her daughter is gone.
She explained that she initially felt numb and could not fully process what she had been told.
“It will probably hit me later on,” Vogel said, describing the grieving process as something she is still trying to understand.
The actress’s mother also expressed her hope that Hayden would be remembered for the qualities that defined her beyond the difficulties she faced in her personal life.
“I want Hayden to be remembered for the talented, beautiful, outgoing, intelligent woman she really was,” Vogel said.
